The Catshark folding knife from Azo and Yue is a multi-functional non-locking EDC knife with incredibly snappy action and a ton of features packed into its compact design. These include a Hex bit driver, lanyard hole, and light-duty pry bar tucked neatly into the titanium lockside which also includes a deep carry pocket clip.

The detent lock allows the crisp opening action as well as keeps the blade open in place without a lock – making it legal to carry in many more jurisdictions. It also includes a bit that can be placed into the hole in the handle and blade in the open position, locking the blade into place just like the ArtisanCutlery Archaeo.

It should be thrown onto a lanyard and attached to the knife so it’s always handy, and it serves the dual purpose of being a ferro rod to throwing some sparks when necessary. Indeed, this is a very cool, very well thought out design from Azo and Yue and a strong competitor in the realm of top EDC knives.
