Jim Hammond’s original P.S.D. earned its name (Particle.Separation.Device.) for its ability to cut through just about anything, anywhere. Now P.S.D. II brings that same capability with a swift, powerful, smaller, more portable everyday carry folding knife, a corrosion-resistant, full-recurve blade and Assisted Opening with IKBS bearings for smooth, fast and easy one-handed operation. Low profile, deep carry black stainless steel pocket clip riding low in the pocket for secure deep-pocket, tip-up, right hand carry.

Designer Jim Hammond was the first knifemaker to work with CRKT in 1994, but he had more than 17 years’ experience under his blade-decorated belt prior to that. After graduating from Clemson in 1977, he quickly climbed the ranks, specializing in military and collector grade tactical fighters like CRKT FE Series. A Knifemakers’ Guild member since 1978, his designs are all about excellence, flair, and function.
